On February 19, 2025, the Society of Petroleum Engineers Kuala Lumpur (SPEKL) hosted a grand gala at the Grand Hyatt Hotel, Kuala Lumpur, commemorating 45 years of service, volunteerism, and industry leadership. This milestone event brought together professionals, industry leaders, and partners to honor the legacy of volunteerism and inspire the future of the petroleum engineering community.

SPEKL's Chairman delivered an impactful opening address, sharing a personal journey that highlighted the power of community, education, and resilience.
